Climate Lab
The Climate Lab at the Chabot Space & Science Center was an award-winning exhibition that took a hopeful, solutions-oriented approach to the topic of climate change, explored clean energy technology, and inspired visitors to find solutions to our warming planet.
As a result of the exhibit’s initial success, the Center received a major grant to design and develop new features. In 2012, I was hired to redesign a third of the physical exhibit, provide art direction for the online and mobile experience, and create new programming. Some of the features of the new design included, the introduction of the Climate Agent, a stylized laboratory exhibit entrance, a Green Machine Design Studio, a Game Zone, an Innovators & Inventors Display Area with adaptable display crates, and the Climate Agent Lab Coats.
